Enjoy your mid-mornings with the sunniest and most smiling radio presenter at MPOWERFM. Sascha, known as the person with the warmest personality, will keep listeners tuned into the Workzone show weekdays from 10:00 to 12:00 on MPOWERFM.
Even though her father is Australian and her mother South African, she says she has her roots here in South Africa and never really wants to leave despite the fact that her Australian passport is waiting for her.
Sascha prides herself in her mix match home style. “Being recently married, we got a lot of things as gifts and so now there is really not one specific style I can put my finger on but I am building a home with the love of my life, so that is more than enough for me!” Her most valuable possessions are photos of good times and fond memories. “Who needs a style anyway as long as its home, right?”
Her hobbies include music, and starting things that she rarely finishes like scrapbooking and calligraphy. “The one thing I can finish though is a puzzle. I love puzzles!” Furthermore, Sascha likes spicy foods and for some unknown reason to her, crispy stuff. “If it goes crunch in my mouth I will eat it,” she says.
Sport she finds a waste of time and would rather opt for doing one of a million other things but at the end of the day, Sascha says she supports the Sharks rugby team and Manchester United, to a certain extent.
Sascha refers to herself as a Twihard who religiously reads the Twilight saga. Who shall it be, Sascha, team Jacob or Edward? “Definitely team Jacob. I love reading anything that takes me to a fantasy world and lets me forget where I am.” She is so sure of herself in this regard that Sascha made it public that she would beat any MPOWERFM presenter at a board game of Twilight Trivia. Let the games begin!
Sascha is one for a good and uplifting musical and says her favorites are Mamma Mia, Chicago and Rent. If she could choose any actress to play herself in a movie she would opt for the Mamma Mia star, Amanda Seyfried. “My life would be a musical as I often wish it was and Amanda is a great singer!”
On the deeper side of things, Sascha believes that one must live like yesterday never happened and tomorrow never will. Sascha named Mrs. Tracy Todd as a truly icon person. “Mrs. Todd is a local who despite being paralyzed from the neck down still seems to do more in a day than I ever could. And she still motivates other people to be more.”
