I was born on a stormy winters night into a household where the only constant is the radio… it has always been on, and has always come first.

Growing up with a parent who is a well known radio personality was a blessing, it instilled a love for the arts and a passion for music from a very young age. I actually think I was the only 7 year old whose favourite band was The Beatles!

After living in Joburg for 11 years, the family relocated to Cape Town, where I completed high school, started a band and generally did what most 18 year olds do on a gap year, I started working in a nightclub.
