Mio

Born: Manzodidi Khondleka originally from the Eastern Cape.
Radio career began in 1996, while in Australia as an Exchange Student. While attending school at Mowbray High School I took classes at the local radio station and received a broadcasting certificate at the Melton Fm Radio academy. I became one of the youngest presenters on the daytime line up at Melton Fm, a community radio station which served the greater area of Melton in Victoria.

Fast forward a few years; working in South Africa as a musician and voice over artist as well as a club rugby player, straight to 2003, while studying at UPE, Mio joined CBFM (now known as BAY FM) as a presenter. Later on became the Programmes Manager for BAY FM. This is where he met and began working with his wife Queenie Grootboom.
