Sibs, full name Sibaphiwe Matiyela. Born and raised in Umtata in the Eastern Cape but grew up in Cape Town (Please don’t make me explain, it’s a long story).  I like to sing and listen to music and believe it or not, all I do in my spare time is read. Really. I spent the last four years of my life at Rhodes University in Grahamstown learning many things about life, love and everything else.

Incidentally, this is also where my love affair with radio began. Rhodes Music Radio, to date, will always be the place that instilled a love for broadcasting, media and journalism in me.
